The Lord is my shepherd, with Him I have everything.
He makes me lie down on His chest, and feel His beating heart; He gives me peace and
He restores my soul–bringing back what once was lost; for His glory, I will follow.
Even though the enemy tries to snatch me away, I have nothing to fear, for He told me that nothing’s gonna take me away from His hand; with that I feel secured.
He’s proud that I am His child, and even confirmed it with His overflowing anointing.
Surely, goodness and love will follow me everyday, and I don’t want to be anywhere else but in His presence.
“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul.
He guides me along the right paths for his nameʼs sake.
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
